Is 0.3 Megapixels Any Good?

A while back I got a clean Nintendo DSI XL Mario 25th Edition. Originally I decided to keep it because I wanted to see how far I could push the 0.3 megapixels camera, but I ultimately ended up using it for games as well. The games themselves play great, but if you decide to jail break it you can't access filters, the photo album, and you have to download an alternative to the original software. Which isn't bad, you still have access to both the front facing and rear facing cameras, but it takes way longer to save the image. Which is taken in PNG, not JPEG like a non-jail broken one.

Anywho here's the images (all edited BTW):

Outdoors: Some random motorcycle that was on its side, for like more than 24hrs (my JDM 60s Honda CL160 is better, btw). I took this image on a cloudy day, the motorcycle was facing uphill.

Indoors: Super cool underground comic store (yes, I know its manga, they sold comics too, it's in their name). Probably the best image, the original colors were not as vibrant.

Indoors, no lights: Unopened arcade, we got a tour. All the lights were out, but I was hoping to capture the light from some of the arcade machines, which didn't happen, super blurry.

All of these were first and only takes, the DSI takes so long to save the image so I didn’t feel like standing around.

Overall I would say the DSI isn’t bad, it's got that “y2k aesthetic”,  and I would love to bring it to a concert to see what it's truly capable of. But that might be too dark, one of the images that I showed was taken on a cloudy day, however, even then some were getting drowned out with light. So if you decide to use it I would recommend either indoors, or bring an umbrella to cover the sun. Also, another side note before logging off, the DSI has a removable SD card so it's easier to jail break, but still, just get a 3DS with video capabilities, and definitely not the Game Boy camera. Bye.
